
Somehow I came across this recipe by My Kitchen Addiction and I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I took a short break earlier today to make some cocoa roasted almonds (mine weren’t spicy as I was out of cayenne pepper) and they are soo good.
The chocolate flavor is pretty subtle (the cinnamon comes out stronger, I think) so if you are craving chocolate, this won’t cut it, but if you want something sweet and snacky, this is your recipe. Sweet, snacky, and belly-achy, I should say, because I couldn’t stop noshing and now I feel little sickly around the edges. What I really want to do is crush some on top of vanilla ice cream. But I won’t.
Only because I don’t have any ice cream.

So glad you enjoyed them! I must admit that I am also guilty of eating too many and feeling a bit sick afterwards… But hey, nuts are healthy, right?
