Here is the finished version of the stuffed elephant. Cuuuuuuuute!
His ears have plastic inside them so they crackle and crinkle when you touch them in that satisfying way that babies love. Yeah, ok, I love it too.
I braided ribbon for his tail. (No loops!)
Here he is with the last of the contraband zebras (who will soon make her way to Florida). How flippin’ sweet are these stuffies? I’m not putting any in my Etsy shop until after the craft fair next week because I want to make sure I have enough things to sell there. I have more designs in my head for other animals and a ringleader and a tent but there’s no telling when these will actually come to life. After the craft fair, I want to focus on gifts for the family for Christmas — which, by the way, is 35 days away.

Oh man – I really need one of these to go with the zebra! I’m so excited that you are planning a whole series – a friend of mine gave birth a few weeks after 6 Years!! of prayer. So I’m hoping to set that little guy up with a whole collection.

I know it! I am so tired from Thanksgiving/Black Friday craft fair but I need to start sewing for my family asap!!
